Cars for Stars is licensed to provide private hire by the Public Carriage Office, who operate on behalf of Transport for London. Amongst other things, this allows us to offer transfers to and from London Stansted Airport.

Cars for Stars does not believe that it is right to take risks with the health and safety of our customers. Therefore we welcome the stringent regulations and rules that come with being a PCO  Licensed Private Hire Operator. Whilst many companies play lip service to the regulations, it should be noted that all limousine companies operating a service to or from Stansted Airport must be licensed, or they are committing a very serious offence.

As a Licensed Private Hire Operator, Cars for Stars is subjected to regular checks by the Public Carriage Office to ensure that we are complying and following all of the regulations required to maintain the License. In addition, every stretched limousine offered for hire, must also be subjected to and pass regular inspections, which are much tougher than a standard MOT test. The tests, for example, also cover every electrical item inside the vehicle, including the lights, to ensure that they are working.

Our chauffeurs must also possess a PCO Licence to drive our limousines or chauffeur driven cars. The application process is also managed by the Public Carriage Office and includes a medical and a criminal records bureau check, providing additional peace of mind for our customers.

With a wide range of vehicles, Cars for Stars is also perfectly placed to offer a range of services, for example, we offer a 'Royal Ascot Racing package whereby we will provide a stretched limousine, table, chairs and an open sided marquee for the day. Similarly, we can offer the same type of service in the evening. However, this will include a chauffeur driven car (or limousines) to collect you and your guest from your hotel, home or offices and then onto the River Thames. When you have boarded for your cruise, you will receive the best seating, and a Champagne, 5 course a la carte meal, followed by live music and dancing. At the end of the evening your personal chauffeur for the evening will take you back to your hotel, or home. If you prefer and the night is young you may opt to have you chauffeur take you and your guest into the west end.
